We approached Conker a company that specialise in rugged tablets and we tested one of their devices, we ended up buying one and in return for a review they gave us a discount. They had no input on the content and this was our own views.
The tablet allows us to conduct safety checks and checklists before we set off on patrols, allows us to communicate back to base and we can even do a Teams call from the middle of the river, it has a camera, GPS and can withstand the rigors of being outside in all weathers. So far so good….
